Contributions may concern any type of research: methodological, theoretical or experimental advances, developments of new algorithms, tools, systems or applications, within the field of signal and image processing. As a complement to the proposed general Topics (see the list), three Special Sessions, open to submissions, will be organized:
Astro-statistique (Jean-Yves Tourneret + Jean-François Cardoso + Andrea Ferrari)
Signal Processing and Internet Teletraffic (Patrice Abry)
Signal and Images and Bio-ingeniery (Christian Roux)
Prospective authors are invited to submit their proposals from January 1st to February 10th, 2005, in electronic form only, and according to the instructions detailed in the section "electronic submission".
The official language of the Symposium is French, though English is permitted for non-French speaking contributors.
Any communication proposal will mandatorily consist of:
The paper title;
The name of the authors with their complete address (mail and e-mail, phone, fax), and the name of the corresponding author underlined;
One (or two) Topic(s) chosen in the proposed list, specifying whether the communication is submitted to one of the Special Sessions;
The answers to the three questions:
statement of the problem,
originality about the research,
new results
(two lines per answer);
A summary of two pages minimum and three pages maximum (single column), including figures.
